What is a 10x10 pop up canopy tent?

Straight leg vs. slant leg
A straight leg canopy drops its legs straight down from the four corners, so a 10x10 frame shades the full 10 ft × 10 ft and sidewalls hang flush to the frame. How much space does a 10x10 canopy cover?
A 10x10 canopy covers 100 square feet of ground under its frame. Usable shade is a little smaller because of the legs and the sun angle. That's enough for a vendor booth with one 6-ft table along the back, which leaves about 85 square feet open, or an 8-ft table, which leaves about 80.

Choosing Fabric & Weatherproofing
What "D" Means
Denier (D) measures the thickness of the yarn the fabric is woven from. A higher number means a heavier, thicker weave, which generally holds up better to abrasion and repeated folding. Canopy tops are commonly sold in ranges from light retail fabric up to 600D and beyond.

Pick and clear the spot
Choose level ground and clear rocks and debris. Roll the trolley bag to the site and stand the collapsed frame upright in the center of the 10×10 footprint.

Expand the frame
Grab two opposite legs and walk them outward until the frame is about three-quarters open. Keep the legs at their shortest height.

Attach the canopy
Drape the printed canopy over the frame and secure it at each corner before the frame is fully open, while the peak is still easy to reach.

Lock and raise the legs
Push the frame fully open until the sliders click, then raise each leg to the height you want, one side at a time.
