Step-and-Repeat FAQs
Sizing, materials, frame package, and tile-pattern design rules.
- What's a step-and-repeat backdrop?
- A photo backdrop with a repeating tiled logo pattern, designed for press-and-step photos at galas, premieres, corporate launches, and fundraiser red carpets. The tiled layout guarantees the sponsor or event logo lands inside every camera frame, no matter where the subject stands.
- What size step-and-repeat should I order?
- Three standard sizes: 8x8 ft (single-subject portrait shots), 8x10 ft (couples and small groups), and 8x12 ft (groups, family shots, and team photos). Custom sizes up to 10x20 ft are available for large red-carpet runs.
- What material is it printed on?
- Wrinkle-resistant polyester with full-color dye-sublimation print. The fabric stays crisp even after travel-pack folds, photographs without glare under stage lighting, and doesn't show the seam shadow that vinyl backdrops produce.
- Does the backdrop come with a frame?
- Yes — the standard package includes a telescoping aluminum crossbar frame with locking floor feet and a padded carry bag. Setup is a two-person, five-minute job. Premium frames (curved, taller, branded base wraps) are available on request.
- Can the print be replaced without buying a new frame?
- Yes. The aluminum frame is reusable across events — order a fresh print when the sponsor list, event title, or year changes, keep the frame. Many production companies own one frame and rotate prints by event.
- What's the lead time on a step-and-repeat backdrop?
- 10 to 14 business days from art approval and payment, plus transit. Graphic design and tile-pattern layout are included. Rush production is available on request — reach out with the event date.
